Hey DepressedDiva, Yes you can do this. I think the simple truth is that you ARE doing this. Look at you posting here in the forum. That is you doing what it takes. I do know that college can be overwhelming. I graduated in 2008. Looking back I am amazed I got through it. I was constantly letting negative thoughts distract me from my tasks. I wish I had the program back then. My grades would have probably been better. Just think, if you stick it out in the program next semester will be easier. In fact, next month will be easier and most likely next week will be easier. I have only been using the program for three weeks, but already my mind feels calmer. Yours will too.

Hey girl!
I recently graduated with my bachelor of Arts and I can relate to how hard college is. I can imagine that it would be very hard to do this program and your school work all at once.
My advice to you would be to take the time that everyone else spends getting drunk and partying (like thirsty thursday) to work on this program. And feel good about yourself because you're actually doing something productive and they are not!!
Also, I really liked the comment that Ijustwantchange made.... Put it on your ipod and listen to it while you're walking to and from classes... Or go to the library, find a comfy chair and just listen... Then maybe once you're done with your session you'll be in the right place to get some homework done! :] You can do it! Think positively (as hard as that is)...
And believe me, you'll be glad you stuck it out through college when you're receiving your degree..
Good Luck!!

I've never partied and gone out to drink...its all the extra appointments I have ontop of school that makes it hard. (Chiropractic, Counceling, etc...)

You can do this. You've gotten as far as signing up for the program and logging on to the forums, and you even posted. That is a good start if you ask me. I too have problems with college. Especially my speech class (let me tell you, that is a hard feat for me). My first speech class, during my second speech, i hit the door running and never looked back. Now i'm going through it again and thankfully, i only have one speech left to give. It is very trying and rough at times, but also very rewarding. Please don't think twice about staying in college. You CAN do it. I found myself regretting saving all my dreaded classes for last...because now i'm having to take them all at once. Please learn from my mistake...mix enjoyable classes with not so enjoyable ones so you at least get some kind of personal enjoyment out of school. Also...if you have to only do 3 classes at a time, that is ok! I found myself having to drop down to 3 classes this semester because between government, speech, algebra, and world lit...it was just too much. I'm finding my anxiety is much more maneagable since i dropped government. You aren't alone....there's so many of us here that have the same problem with school. We can do this...we will do this...don't let the anxiety win.
