hey all ive been suffering from panic attacks for the last 2 years my dr just put me on both of these meds but i dont know witch one is the one thats working any advice no scary stories about the paxil plz

hey don, 2 weeks into the program i am Sean from wisconsin, i am on prozac and xanax prn...the program is really starting to work..i can tell you i myself have been a mental heath provider for 23 years (counseling, etc) this program seems to be the real deal get at the absolute heart of your "issues" unrelentingly we just have to stay the course no matter how we feel...the meds help but for the long run its discovering your true self thru this program

I was on xanax for two years. It worked great for a long time.After a while I started having other issues.I was having hardley any panic attacks, but started getting extreamly paranoid, and it kept getting worse and worse. I wasent paranoid about everything, It was just eating and drinking.I started worrying someone tampered with my food or drink. I was living off of ensure for a while, and my weight dropped over 100 pounds in a year.It got so bad my doctor was scared my organs would start giving me trouble. I started doing extensive research and found out this was a side effect of xanax. I havent taken it in a while and Im still loosing weight, but after I quit taking it my paranoia started leaving. So I would suggest asking alot of questions at youre doctors office and also do youre own research. good luck with youre meds pay attention to how they make you feel and hang in there.

I took Paxil for 2 years and it helped alot I am now off all meds and doing good thanks to the program. I still have anxiety once in awhile but not as much as I use to I also didnt have any side effect(Paxil) with it
