You bet! Plus I had a hysterectomy many yrs. ago (one ovarie left) and still have that anxious feeling about 3-4 days in a row each month. Strong hunger too! I don't get it and I forget why the anxiety but that's the way it is.Crave more salt/sweets at that time also. Oh, it's such fun being a woman!

Add me to the list on this one! I agree with Barb, isn't it such fun to be a woman?! We may have to deal with these things but our husbands in turn have to deal with us. Big Grin

I am with you. Except the anxiety seems worse around my ovulation time. I don't know why. Some days I feel like I could eat a horse! I crave salty mostly. And I have some really good days in the month too. I am married to an angel. God knew I would need someone like that. Praise God for His wisdom and not mine!!

I would like to chime in that in fact I am going through this annoying fit of hunger right now. I eat but within minutes I have to tell myself over and over "you've had enough -- you may not feel like it but your stomach is full of food so go do something constructive and stop eating and/or thinking about eating." It is the weirdest thing to eat and then realize that your brain "didn't get the memo." Ha Ha.

Yes, and a glass of water seems to help a little.

I'm eating oatmeal right now! Oatmeal doesn't even stick with me...I get SO hungry. I get a bit nauseous sometimes too and have stomach problems in the first couple days of my period also. Being a woman is no fun...at least not for like a week a month.

Yes Carla, I have the same problem. Some of my biggest cravings are for pizza, french fries and chocolate. Smiler

I absolutely have this problem. The anxiety is extremely bad right before my period. I also could eat and eat and eat. I crave cheese burgers (the last thing I need) lol!

Yep. I can ALWAYS tell when my period is about 2-3 days away, because my anxiety shoots through the roof. To this day, despite how far I've come and how much I've improved, those few days just nearly kill me. I can also relate to the hunger thing. For a while I was seriously worried I was bipolar or something and going through an up-phase that involved impulsive eating, because I would seriously eat and eat and eat and it would never be enough. My lovely period would always arrive several days later and finally I put the connection together. Don't feel alone, we all go through it. I just try to live through those days and be nice to myself. Sorry if that advice isn't the greatest, but it's about all we can do. Exercise helps too. Just take it easy and be kind to yourself. Indulge a little, but not too much. Sometimes the foods we crave can make our PMS symptoms even worse.

Yes, yes and yes!! I have a different brain and a different body the week before my period. And it's a bit more chaotic now that I'm not on the pill, too. I relate to the constant eating and never feeling full. I'm in the midst of it right now.
