Hey everyone!

I just got done with Lesson 6 of the program. I have been doing really well and didn't have to use any medication for a whole month! This week, however, I am having a really difficult time, and this morning I could barely come to work b/c of my anxiety. It feels like it did when it first started several months ago. I took a 0.25 mg dose of Xanax and came in... I feel better. But I'm scared! Any suggestions? Should I stop where I'm at in the program and review everything? PLEASE HELP!!!

Okay first remeber just because someone runs threw the finish line of a race dosent mean there system automaticaly stops to calm down . Your nerves have been easily shot off in the past so give yourself lots of patience , acceptence and understanding.
Dont jump to conclusions that you will be right were you started , or wont be able to handle this round of shakey nerves . I am sure thats in the back of your mind , because it would always be in the back of mine. BUT you are stronger this time with all your new knowledge . Just float threw and dont be upset about feeling upset . This is your growth spurt . Give yourself lots of positive talk , like you would if your best friend in the whole worl was going threw this.

Hi cam, what pogirl said is right. This is a growth spurt you're going through and an absolutely normal part of the recovery process. Don't let it frighten you, instead use the tools you've learned via the program and use them. If you need to, listen to specific cd's again to refresh your memory.

I myself am going through this as well.
