Hey everyone,

I've seen several different posts about the Good Day's vitamins and I just wanted to inquire among those that are taking the vitamins...do you like them and how long have you been taking them? I just started taking the vitamins (I'm on my second day). Immediately after I take them, I think..OMG I feel funny. Which of course is just my mind taking over, but taking pills, even vitamins sends me into an emotional turmoil and I pay close attention to my body and any abnormal feeling I get I immediately relate it to the the vitamins. I also had the start of two panic attacks yesterday, but I was able to talk myself through them (thanks to week 2 of the program). I know the vitamins are safe, I have shown the ingredients to my Dr. and my therapist and they both agree that I should be taking a high end vitamin (I'm a vegetarian and I don't eat a well balanced diet). I keep telling myself that the vitamins are good for me (trying to send those obsessive thoughts out the door Smiler). I think the mood vitamin scares me that most. I had a bad experience with SSRI's, so now any pill that connects with the mind scares the daylights out of me. I have a prescription for Klonopin, and I don't take them because I'm scared to death of them. Please help!

I've actually been taking the Good Days vitamins for almost a month now. I do like taking them because I don't eat as healthy as I should at points. I think they are really good.

I am scared to take any form of pill or vitamin, but I have been doing pretty well taking these. I have had terrible reactions to SSRI's myself, so I understand where you are coming from. I still get a little paranoid. I just recently had an eczema break out & I actually thought about blaming it on the vitamins! That just goes to show you how powerful our anxious minds can be.

I have noticed a slight difference in how I feel, but I also attribute that to how much more I'm exercising. I'm also working on my diet, as well.

I would say keep taking them. It's easier said than done when someone tells you not to worry, but if both your DR. and your therapist told you they're OK to take, I would rest assure. They are professionals.

I hope you feel better. If you have any questions or just need to talk feel free to private message me. Smiler

Hi Nicole,

I started using the vitamins about 2 weeks ago. I have had no side effects at all, except the first 3 days I took them, of course I thought I did, but in reality, I didn't. LOL it's only the anxiety telling us we are. But I feel fine taking them. I feel better, but just like LindsCT, I've also been exercising and eating better, except since Halloween came, I've been eating really crappy and have felt absolutely horrible. But I would keep taking the vitamins. Don't give up and don't get scared, they're not going to hurt you.

Thank you for your support LindsCT and Melanie. I am feeling a lot better and I am going to stick with the vitamins, it feels so good knowing that there are people out there that know what I am going through! Once I got back on the program, I began running every morning and I started to watch what I eat more closely (no caffeine and less sugar). I defiantly have noticed a difference in how I feel. It feels so good taking care of my body, I know that I am taking the right steps and in time my mind will get there. Thanks for listening! Be well…

I don't know if this is in my mind but after 3 weeks of being on the vitamins, I've noticed, I don't crave the sugar and bad foods anymore and I tend to eat less at mehls?! Is this because my body is finally getting what it needs? I hope it is the truth and not all in my head. I am staying on them for now, at least until my healthy habits of eating and exercising and positive thinking take hold.

Hi Nicole,
I started taking the Good Days Vitamins about 11 days ago. Like you, medication in any form makes me anxious. I also thought i felt weird and really sluggish after taking them, but i talked myself out of it. I think i feel a little better. I take them in the evening, and i think i sleep better. I know you usually have to take them for at least 30 days to feel the full effect. I also had a bad effect with an SSI, so was worried about the mood vitamins. I do think they are helping.

This is a great post and I enjoyed reading everyone's feedback. I just recently ordered these for the free 30 day trial and was wondering what other people thought of them. I haven't gotten them yet, probably won't get them until next week...but good to know that people seem to be having a positive "reaction" to them.

I was the same place you were with the vitamins...I actually got online to the chat and had them keep me going.....I was so scared that I would have a reaction or something to them.....but its been 2 weeks now and I am doing fine on them....

Remember the "mood" pill that your talking about is a suppliment not a medication....it wont have the same adverse reactions...suppliment is by nature supposed to suppliment your diet with the "nutrieants" we dont get from not eating a balanced diet.

I find great comfort in knowing its a natural element and not chemically manipulated.....
In European countries the herbs and the natural suppliments are actually used prior to prescription drugs they work that well!!!!

But of course the good ol US of A is so money driven the drugs pull more $$$$...

I know its easier said than done but these are good for us.....its one more thing we are doing to make ourselves better and stronger!

Keep taking them.....hears to our health!!

This is an excellent point, thank you Dodger! I agree with you, the US is money driven on drugs. I wish that the US would expand their focus on herbs and natural supplements.

I had considered seeing a herbologist, but my insurance doesn't cover that and so far with the program, daily exercise, taking Good Days and with the help of this forum I am feeling a lot better and not so alone. I know I keep saying this, maybe its because I am so surprised at how many people suffer from anxiety disorder, but it really does feel great to have this kind of support and be able to talk to people. I don't feel alone anymore. This is a really good feeling.

I'm on my fourth day of taking Good Days and I'm feeling a lot better. I have less anxiety about taking them and am not having scary thoughts about them. I am looking forward to seeing how well I feel a month from now.

We should all be so proud of ourselves..we all are making a conscious effort in taking care of our bodies and minds. I salute all of you! Take care!

I got my free trial early yesterday! Was so excited, but then started to do what everyone else mentioned on here. Started to worry. But I took them to dinner (took dad and my fiance out for their birthdays) took them just before dinner, and distracted myself with conversation. So far, no issues...I figured I would feel them by now...so I'm excited again. Although when I first saw the size of the pills I got nervous...I'm not a very good pill swallower...but I managed to get them all down now problems Smiler I read that they say to try to take them around the same time each day so I won't take my 2nd pack until 7pm but I'm hopeful they will help.

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only person out here that has problems taking medicine. The last ssri prescribed to me took me off the charts in the panic attack mode. I told the lady I talked to when I ordered my program that I probably would not take the vitamins due to this fear. When my vitamins show up I will do my best to overcome my fear and take them.
Thanks to all of you for your postings.

I have been fighting the panic attack thing for about 8 years, only seems to hit in the late autumn during time change. Have taken the Good days vitamins for the last year or so and they do seem to help. Do not take them in the summer, do not seem to need them then. I currently take Zoloft and of all the ssri's this one has helped the most with the least side affects.

I just wanted to say how much I love these vitamins. I have been taking them for almost 2 months, and I have definetly noticed a difference I dont get as nervous as fast, and I have a lot more energy. I have noticed that I have been in better spirits lately, and I am not sure if that's the vitamins or just the fact that I am excercising more, because I have way more energy because of the vitamins. I wanted to ask also to see if anyone has taken the natural supplement amoryn or seredyn, just curious if these actually work to help anxiety?
God bless, and keep the hope!!!

I have these vitamins and I don't want them. If anyone would like to buy them from me, I would appreciate it. I am being raped on a monthly basis by the makers of these vitamins.
