Today's simple pleasure: Had yoga class today and the instructor gave us homework to look ourselves in the mirror every morning and say out loud "I like myself. I like myself. I am a very special person. Every day in every way, I like myself. I like myself". She paused at the end of each sentence for a second and said it very calmly and serenely. Gonna have to do my homework!

Been slacking lately. Seem to have just put the program on hold for about 10 days. I think it was my depression taking hold of me again. But need to get back to it!
Today's simple pleasure: going to a graduation party and having a great time gabbing with old friends. Had no problem making conversation. It was a good day!

I'D RATHER CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN, THAN CRAWL IN THAT HOLE!

Yesterday, hubby + me + ginger(9 mths old SHIH POO PUPPY) slept till 10am - yep, 10am - went to sleep @ 12 midnight nite b/4. Then, when we got up: we made 2 little bfast sandwhich's - got something to drink & we all went to this local park nearby. We found a shady spot under a tree(it was big time sunny in NJ yesterday) - & we PLOPPED A SQUAT - right there. We ate bfast, watched a men's softball league play a game & we just chilled. LENORE

My simple pleasure of the day: It was gorgeous outside today, so I went for a long walk on my lunch hour to a really tall building with an observation deck on the 20th floor. Beautiful views of the city. Sing along "on a clear day, you can see forever".

Having The Time of My Life - Right Now
|
My simple pleasures is watching my son's face while he sleeps, so peaceful, so innocent; Making my husband laugh when he is trying to be serious; Being there for my mom as she is surviving cancer, we laugh all the time; Walking through our park and smelling all of the flowers; laughing and living in the moment with friends and family; Reading posts like these - they make me smile LisaLisa

Today's simple pleasure: Going for a walk at my local recreation area and coming across a Mommy deer with two spotted fawns. They weren't afraid of people at all. Several of us just stood and watched them...as the fawns checked us out. Such a sweet moment.
