My simple pleasure is to come home from a stressful day at work and sit in a hot bubbling jacuzzi, we live on a lake so it is so relaxing just to sit and watch the water and the boats go buy.

Today's simple pleasure: going to garage sales and getting a bargain. Though I seem to be having a bad day today, I forced myself to get out of the house and go to a neighborhood garage sale. I bought an almost new water foot massage machine and a parafin wax hand dip machine for $6 for both. What a deal! It pays to go at the end of the day. They were dealing like crazy! Smiler

Snuggling on the couch with my boyfriend and our dog. We do it almost every night and we call it "snuggle time."

Today's simple pleasure: going down to Lake Erie and watching this darling little Jack Russell terrier fetching a stick thrown into the water over and over and over. Those terriers are like energizer bunnies! This little guy would drop the stick at his owner's feet and then pick it up and move it closer to him. And then pick it up and move it a little closer. So cute. Like he was saying "come on, throw it already!". LOL! And when the stick was thrown the doggie would launch himself like a rocket into the water. Several of us just sat and watched and laughed out loud at how cute he was. Made me smile, big time! Big Grin

I've been working on a small patch of my yard for about five years now, trying to get rid of a lot of grassy weeds, dallas grass or crabgrass, I'm not sure which it is. After trying to dig and pull them all out I gave up on that and found some grassy weed killer that won't kill Bermuda grass. As of last week that patch is WEED FREE!!!! YAY!!!! Now it looks like a very nice carpet. Big Grin It's about time!!!! lol

Because of the intense HEAT, we haven't been able to take our puppy GINGER outside to play. Yesterday was a little cooler in the morning, apprx 9:30am. I was able to take her to this sm local park, because I had off fr work. We walked around a bit. Actually, she ran, lol. I found this 1 huge tree w/ nice shading & total view of the park itself. We took a break & sat under that tree for, GET THIS 40 minutes!! Ginger was happy & content - I swear dogs can smile, lol(its my 1st dog ever). The cool thing is this: I remember saying out loud, "wow, this is so RELAXING - it's so beautiful outside today & this park is nice". Sure, I've had MANY relaxing moments since my recovery - THANK ABSOLUTE GOODNESS Big Grin It's just this time, I KIND OF/SORT OF REALIZED IT A LITTLE MORE! I got that feeling yesterday, I DIDN'T WANT TO BE ANYWHERE BUT RIGHT THERE - WHERE I WAS. That makes me very happy - cause that is RECOVERY = that I can do that now & I LIKE IT, lol lol lol THANK YOU LUCINDA, LOL!!!!!!

Today's simple pleasure: sitting outside in my gazebo this evening and reading Lucinda's book. When it got too dark to read, I walked back to my condo and saw my first lightning bug of the summer. It's officially summmertime! Yay!

Today's simple pleasure: Find a cute skirt on sale at the store and rushing home, cutting off the tags and wearing it to a picnic that same day. And then getting compliments on it. Yeah! Smiler
