Hi, I am new to this board. I, like many others here, had a lot of difficulty admitting that I had a problem or that I needed any help. Finally, a counselor I have been seeing for a few months got me started with the program. At first, all the "Get Positive" stuff really bothered me. I kept telling myself was positive and didn't need this "crap" to tell me how to be positive. I was wrong! I was quite negative. I listen to Session 3 at least once a week, in between my other lessons. It's great to finally be getting the help I need and have probably needed since I was about 8 years old. I am now in my mid forties. I learned well how to be negative and I learned well how to hide it from others.

Welcome to the site, and to the program. I did the same thing for years, didnt realize how negative i was either. Its wonderful to have a program that touches on all parts of our lives. And it helps us overcome the negative thinking.. Stay with it, and i wish you Much luck!! Nelly

We welcome you with open arms i deal with the same issue i am on lesson 5 now but i still go back to lesson 3 also to get it in my head i am so negative at times ,but i will be 40 next year and i have been dealing with this since i was 10, the program is one of the frist that has ever help me alot so lets beat this together god bless and drop a line anytime

Thanks for the welcomes! It's good to finally know that there are others that have the same types of feelings I do. It's good to finally know that I am not in this alone. I'll be there when can for you, and I ask you do the same for me. This is something that all of us will need support for, but I can not turn to my family for that, not yet.
