Fear not, you can do this! I am agoraphobic too and I am trying also. We have to push ourselves that is how we will overcome this. Lokk at it like it is O.K. to be nervous and I'm going to do this. Good luck and I can't wait to hear how the conference is. Have fun.

Just the fact that you made the plans to go is a GIGANTIC step. You have already gained victory. Don't let the enemy convice you that this is a bad idea...believe me he likes to whisper these type of thoughts. I will pray for you!!
Remember Jesus is the only way!!!

Watching and listening to Joyce Meyer helped me alot too. I would definately recommend that you go! You can be blessed in so many ways once you hear her testimonies and words of God that she preaches about. Usually those types of conferences/crowds are different and more comfortable because of the worship, singing, and deliverance that people receive.

Fear Not,
Girl...I am so proud of you! I have read a lot of your posts. I guess I can connect with you because I have been where you have...and understand.
You have made many steps and had many victories to so far.
You just do the best that you can. Take the pressure off yourself.
Perhaps tell yourself if you can get half way there, or make the whole drive..that that is you goal and you have won! Then if you feel comfortable enough to stay through the conference, that is just icing on the cake.
Whatever you do, don't beat yourself up if you DO have a hard time or can't go. If you have't stretched yourself on something this big yet, it will make it a lot easier on you to lower your expectations and realize that if you can just drive HALF way there, or all the way there...then you have accomplished your goal. This will help reduce the pressure since you making such a big jump.
And if for some reason you can't make it all the way there or you do but can't stay through the conference, DON'T beat yourself up!
You have already come a long way in recovery with making the DECISION to try. (You probably wouldn't have even THOUGHT about that just a short time ago.) If you can't do all of it, just be proud of yourself that you will soon! Because look at how far you have come.
Not trying to focus on the negative by any means...just want you to work your way into things that you are comfortable with and if for some reason it's too much this soon, you will still see it as a victory! (And it is a victory!)
I am so proud and impressed with what you are doing. You are a strong woman...and with God's help you are walking right out of this anxiety one day at a time! Be of good cheer!! (BTW...I LOVE Joyce!)
