On day 3 of the program. Just wanted to say that it made me feel relieved to know that others were feeling the way I did (heard some of my exact symptoms) and that I'm not losing my mind (yet anyway! lol) So far I'm feeling really positive about this and I wish everyone success

Hello Jeff it always helps to know that other people are dealing with the same issues who experience anxiety/depression as we are. There are many out there who wonder why we can't just get over it. My husband who is tremendously supportive can at times be like enough already.
It nice to know we can come on this forum and get the support from others who have walked in our shoes. I wish you much success in your journey. take care and God Bless. |

Hi, Jeff -
I also felt immediate relief, and connection, after listening to the first tape. I've been dealing with depression for years, attended counselling and spent hours reading self help books. All that research helped me recognize and somewhat understand my quirks and reactions in certain circumstances. This program is the only time I've heard much about learning skills to manage/cope with these issues. Events, other people, crises etc that "caused" my problems were always out there and I never knew when "something" would happen to throw me into the black hole -- everything always seemed to be outside of my control. I'm excited to think that our lives can really be under our control and that we need not be victims of circumstance forever. Hold onto those positive thoughts! |
