Peer to Peer group—First note
Lucinda urges us to visit the “peer-to-peer” group, so to get the most out of it I should participate. This is my first attempt. I am on tape two. My symptoms are DIZZYNESS and CHEST PAINS. I become dizzy when I walk. I had to give up tennis four years ago because of it. I was having trouble with any activity. Standing, turning around, walking, and more. I also feel “pinching “in my chest, caused by waiting. Waiting in traffic, at the grocery store or for myself to complete a chore. Waiting for my wife to finish her sentence, waiting for a Bridge player to play their card. . I feel a pinching sensation during a commercial on TV while waiting for it to finish. And there is more. At my age these are worrisome signs. All of the above was before I started this program, two weeks ago. Now I am on lesson two, all of these sensations have almost disappeared. I have listened to the “RELAXATION TAPE “about 25 times. I don’t know how much to write until I get some feed back. George S. |

1st step to a new you. Forum is great. You will find someone who feels the same way you do on here. Alot of good advice and topics, the program is great you will become a new and anxiety free person in a short time. Change is hard, and you may start to feel more anxious at times, but it will pass. Good luck with the program. |

hey george, i have to say "WELCOME", and im glad to hear the program is working for u. i too dealt with and somewhat still deal with, the chest pains,not so much pinching, but tightness all around. as if theres a big air bubble stuck in my chest. which causes my anxiety to react. i need to learn how to slow down, and relax, thats where i stump. i guess i should really use the relaxation tape more than once a day.. honestly, i will admit, i dont listen to it as much as i would like, i think ive listend to it about twice. anyhow, im glad to hear, the tapes work for u, so im gonna try it. good luck to u, ur gonna do great, and i needed to read ur posting, it helped me too.
