Try this step first:

1) Go to:

2) Choose option 2 & say yes to the prompts
3) Clear your Browser Cache
4) Close then Re Open the Browser
5) Re-Log into the site

Still not working?

If using a Firewall client such as Norton Firewall or Mcaffee Firewall try adding the site domain to the "white list" or "accepted domains" list.

Check to user has a current version of flash:

Make sure you have the latest Java program on your computer as well as Shockwave. Download the newest version here:

How do i find out this information, because this is still not working.

bjmom, did you try all the steps above? If so what browser are you using? Look under Help in the navigation bar at the top of the browser. Is it Internet Explorer Version 6.0xxx or another one?

Also make sure you have the current shockwave program installed on your computer. Click the link on this and see if a new copy will download to your computer, if not then it will probably already have the latest version on it.

Explorer 5.5, when I click on the link it brings up a box that says install now and when i click on that it brings up the same box with the little diagrams in the corner as when i click on chat room. I wonder if Windows ME is too old to download this. Because it was not listed

Try download firefox browser.. I had no problem ...

Disable your firewall and if that makes the chat work, then you need to adjust your firewall settings.

I'm using Firefox version 2.0.0.6
and Shockwave Flash version 10.2.0.022

When I try to join Chat, all I get is a white screen with a "dimmed" logo on the top left corner.

Bracken have you checked your firewall setting? If not try this.

Bracken from what I've found out this morning there is a problem with Firefox 2.0 and accessing forms & shockwave programs that has developed recently. This has probably happened since the last build of Shockwave. The solution recommended is to download the latest version of Firefox 3.0 at:

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/3.0a7/releasenotes/

This is where I'm at right now. Let me know if this works.

The "dimmed" logo looks like a small "thought balloon". I've tried various solutions. It's odd, I have no problem getting into other chat rooms on other sites.

I am using firefox verison 2... You might need update your java.. I couldnt get in chatroom other day because I had old version of java... I had to update java it works.. Try that ... go to www.java.com download it...

I have the most rencent update of Java. Still doesn't work.
