Hello to all,

We are in the process of rolling out a new look and feel for the Midwest Center website today (Feb 12 2009) which means some of the links may not work for a few minutes/hours. This is normal as we continue to update each module one at a time.

If a particular link doesn't work right now, check back in an hour or two and it should.

If there is a specific glitch or problem that you find in the next few days, please contact us either via private message or at:

webadmin@stresscenter.com

and we will investigate the glitch/problem.

Thank you for your patience and have a great day!

Hello,

Since The Midwest Center is updating their web page. Would it be possible if you can post anything new that Lucinda Bassett may have: Like, Books and any upcoming events or TV shows she may be appearing on? Please that would really be of great help for us who are on the program.

Thank You.

Not trying to be neg. here. I just wished ya'll would have kepted the top part the same. With our names and how maney visitors.

When you have Depression you feel VERY ALONE. It always made me feel good to see others on here. It made me feel more connected w/ the community. Also the current topics was nice too.

maybe it's just me but I feel a little down about it. Frowner

I agree with Karenleigh... I think the site looks A LOT better... a little more fancier/upgraded/modern... but I always looked to see who was on and looked to see what the latest topics were... that was always the first thing I checked and now the site seems a little foreign without it... I'm sure we would be able to adjust to the way the site is now... those 2 items just seemed a little more comforting like we were more united... Again... I think the site visually looks pretty awesome... Smiler

None of the links at the top are working for me. Don't like the new site. Can't find the latest topics, etc. Not happy but will have to deal with it I guess.

Because this is a major site update the tech guys are still working on it. New subdomains have been added to the entire site which means the dns numbers have to propogate worldwide (to each ISP) before the pages work properly. With any redesign or major upgrade this is a normal procedure.

We have noted the missing "whose online" area also and will look into this as soon as the entire website is 100% operational. We expect some glitches, that's normal, and will be fixed as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi karen,
I agree with you. I also felt connected to others, when you saw who was on line. The way, it is now, it is like you are by yourself on the site.
I also look to the current topics. I do hope they put that part back.
Other than that, the site does look nice.

This would be a good comment to have a positive replacement thought with.

Hey admin!
Will we ever get to see the top part again? That was a really good thing ya'll had up there.
It showed the latest topics. It showed what members were on line and it showed the number of visitors. Which were usually alot!
It just made you feel like you were not alone. Smiler
