Is anyone having a rough time? I seemed to be doing good until the holidays, but I seem to be dragging now. I have taken all caffiene out of my diet and have virtually no sugar. It wasn't hard, I am never hungry and have to force myself to eat. I have lost 17 pounds. I got a treadmill over the holidays and have incorporated exercise every day, but just don't seem to be making progress mentally. How long does it take? I know I am an impatient person. I fit every thing they talk about in the sessions. Still sometimes I just want to go to sleep and never wake up. I cry all the time and am so lonely. Any suggestions? Is there hope this will get better. I don't want to go on medication, although I have it, but know little about it - Pristique? Anyone know about it?

Hello Snow...I know what you mean. I am stuck on week 6. The holidays were okay, but very stressful. I've been feeling unmotivated and uninspired, but this is temporary. I don't eat well either and my meds have sedative in them and something that makes me have an appetite. I have switched to half decaf and tried to cut back on sugar. So far, I'm not near as shaky as I was before, so that's good. I talked to my Dr and my pharmacist about my meds. The info they gave me was very helpful. I'm also very impatient, but try not to be too hard on yourself. I am thinking of reviewing lessons 2-5 again, so I can get through week 6. Try and have a better daySmiler

Snowwhite, Don't give up! You are not alone. Even "normal" people sometimes feel depressed after the holidays are over. I am having a tough week too because the excitement of the holidays is over and it's back to the grindstone at work and home. Plus, it's very cold and gloomy outside, which doesn't help things any. Just remember, the way you feel is temporary and it ALWAYS goes away. Keep your chin up!
