I finished my CD and the workbook on this lesson and decided to put it to work. I called my one son and apologized for something I said to him a year ago on Mother's Day. I am so furious with myself for wasting all that time feeling guilty and worrying because just as the lesson tells you, it is probably all for nothing. He responeded with, "Relax Mom, I forgot all about it." For one year I tore myself apart with guilt and he was not even thinking about it. The most important thing is the fact that I did it the way the Lesson said, and I feel great about it. May you all have as nice a Mother's Day as I am having. God Bless.

Barndog,
I am so happy for you!! I know by reading from other posts that the relationship you have with your son is very important to you. It is amazing to me how something we play over and over in our minds can be so unimportant to others. I am so glad you found out that your son wasn't hurt by something said a year ago. Congragulations on putting your tools to work and having wonderful results!!!

Many Hugs,
Diane

Thanks Diane for the kind words...I am so happy, he called me yesterday. All my kids and step kids and grandson called me but his call was without a doubt the highlight of the day. When I went to hang up he said he loved me and when I hung up I cried like a baby. I just could not control it.

I actually had two highlights, my daughter had people in for a lobster feast for me for Mother's day. She knows how to make Mom happy. LOL.

When these nice things happen, you can not help but thank God for listening to our prayers. God Bless you all. And, I am not a religious fanatic. Wink

That's sooo wonderful!! I'm so proud of you, but most importantly, I'm so happy for you. We do tend to beat ourselves up with guilt when often the one we think we hurt didn't give it a second thought. I'm glad you have peace in your heart.
