Hi everyone. I'm Kelly and I just began the program on September 30th. I'm having difficulty staying "on task" and just want to get on to session 2 because I feel like what I am continuously going over right now .. well, I don't feel I'm getting anything out of it. I've read some of the other posts and I know that I'm not the only one who has difficulty starting out. I just want to get better and I'm unsure I guess. Any thoughts?

Hi Kelly and Welcome,

I know there isn't a whole lot in session 1 and if you feel you have gotten all you can from it and have done the workbook and have been journaling then move on to session 2 cd and dvd. It's better than becoming bored and losing interest in the program. Session 2 has a lot more and you need to really do it 2-3 times as well as all the other work in that session and every other session if you are really wanting this program to work. There's a lot of learning here, reteaching yourself after how ever many years you've been thinking and feeling badly so work your butt off and you will be fine.

Best Wishes For Your Success!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you monty'smom!! Yesterday and today I just read over the material again - a little slower - and I read the Stress Less Press magazine that was included with my kit. :-) I certainly felt as though I absorbed a bit more resources - LOL! Tomorrow I'm set to begin Session 2 and I'm excited because it deals with the anxiety issues - YES! I want to learn more on how to combat them. :-) I'll keep updated my progress. Thank you for the encouragement - I certainly need it! I know that whatever I put my mind to I can certainly conquer! As well as in a group - a lot can be accomplished!!! Thanks!

Hi Kelly,
I, too, felt like I wanted to forge ahead, and I'll begin Session 2 on Saturday. How are you doing with the relaxation piece?

Hi :-)

I actually have been going really slow with this program. I've read a little bit in session 2, but I haven't done much else. I work 4-10/hr shifts and I don't have time on those days to do any of the program - at least, I find it difficult to make the time. Also, the relaxation part is not something I do every day. I should I suppose, but I find it easy to run it through my head after hearing it a few times. There are moments that I do listen to it right when I go to bed - which is helpful. Honestly I don't use it a lot. I don't know if that's "normal" with others or not! Hmm...it would be interesting to know! Good luck with your program. I'm taking it really slow. Sometimes I'm in the mood to do it and other times I'm so exhausted, or I just don't feel well, so I just don't even try. It's not that I'm depressed or anxious about it ~ I'm simply too exhausted and want to relax. Contradictory at times I suppose. Take care - let me know how you're doing!
