Hello, Just curious, but is anyone else having balance issues that may be associated with your anxiety? I was having some issues with both light dizziness and an off balance feeling. The light dizziness has pretty much gone away through my work with this program, but I still have the off balance feeling. Can anyone relate? Thanks! Ken

Yes. It got to the point where I had to hang on to things to walk. When I wake up in the morning, I have to sit up slowly or I'll spin. Sometimes it's caused by an inner ear infection. You may want to get that checked. If the ears are fine, then it's probably your body's reaction to an attack.

Hello!I also experience this alot!I've been dealing with this symptom for over a year and have been to the Dr. for a physical and blood work which both checked out ok.It's anxiety. This is one of my worst symptoms.I hate it!I've also had it so bad where I'd feel like I'd have to hang onto something.Just want you to know that your not alone with this.Take care!

Hi Ken,
I am dealing with the same thing. I have my normal dizziness related to anxiety and panic. But I could be doing fine and just a ride in an elevator throws me off balance. If the soil under my feet gets unstable I have a lot of balance problems. I always figured that it is just a part of it all.Good Luck!

Thanks everyone! This has to be one of the worst feelings ever. I feel like I am drunk, but without having had any alcohol. The doctors do think it some sort of vestibular problem within my ears, but can't be certain. Based on your comments, it sounds like it's anxiety related as well. I am doing some really easy balance excercises that seem to be helping. Standing on one foot at a time and seeing how high I can count. Doing this both with my eyes open and closed. The PT has me doing some other ones as well, so those having these same issues might want to try them. Thanks and good luck to everyone. Take care, Ken

I have the same thing, walking on tile vs carpet I feel unsteady with my feet, like they are not anchored and I have to curl my toes as to hang on. I am unable to stand and talk to someone without a wall to lean on and even then it is difficult. i can't walk in wide open spaces. And like you said, unstable ground is the worst, snow, ice, grass to pavement, etc. anyone have these symptoms???
