I am not sure I understand what observing myself means in session one, can someone tell me more about how to know how to do this? Thanks

I interpret this to mean becoming more aware of your personality traits and how they influence your anxiety. Asking ourselves how a certain behavior makes us feel gives us an opportunity to stand back and observe. What I am working on right now is trying to stay more aware of my emotional state and reaching for more positive thoughts when I find myself getting caught up in thoughts or behaviors that feed my anxiety.
