I am on Session 4 this week, but am having trouble keeping the daily schedule in the workbook. I have a 1 year old son, a house to keep up, and we're moving and putting things away. I am having difficulty finding time to listen to the session, read the workbook, do the homework, go to the support group each day, etc. unless it is right before I go to bed when I am tired and can't concentrate very well. I have only been able to listen to the relaxation CD once per day since starting the program. I really want to continue so I can get rid of my panic attacks and depression, but is it okay to modify the schedule a little bit and only listen to the relaxation CD 1x per day? I have always had a problem with time management, but it seems to have gotten worse with having a baby, and I feel guilty if I am doing other things and not paying attention to him. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

Hi Tracy,
I have the same problem. 2 kids, a husband that works different shifts, a job and all the running of the household. I ended up getting stuck and not doing session 3 for almost a month. I finally decided that this is really, really important. Think how much time we lose with our loved one's because of anxiety. Even when we're with them we're not really because we are so caught up in how we feel.

I finally decided that compared to the rest of my life this is a small period of time and one that will make me a better wife, mother and friend. With listening to the sessions and doing the homework and journalling I dont have time to do the relaxation cd 3 times a day. But I will do it once a day and listen to it one other time while I am cooking or getting ready for work. I think that is a good way for me. Let me know how youre doing. May you be blessed with peace, good health and joy today!!
